Parker fountain pen

The Parker fountain pen that caused the company's big breakthrough in 1894 was the Lucky Curve: George had finally created a pen that did not leak. The anti-leak system ensured that the ink flowed back into the reservoir when the pen was not being used. From then on this system was used in almost every Parker fountain pen design. In the 1920s Parker was busy inventing the mechanical pencil. Two years after the introduction of the rollerball, the Parker pencil became available in 1968 with a capacity of up to 50000 words.
