Montblanc has brought a new type of fountain pen to its collection, namely a calligraphy fountain pen.

This writing instrument is based on the iconic and traditional Meisterstück collection. The pen has been redesigned into a contemporary composition of gold leaf after the traditional colors black and gold. The gold leaf is applied by hand to create works of art, each item truly unique. 

Furthermore, the pen is made of black translucent lacquer and features a full black PVD clip and three full black PVD rings embossed with the Montblanc brand name.The writing instrument is finished with a handcrafted 18kt / Au750 solid gold nib with ruthenium coating.

Montblanc has added a new pen to their Writers Edition collection, this time it is a honour to the famous writer Rudyard Kipling. One of his well-known writings is The Jungle Book. With this pen Montblanc celebrates the intellect and stylistic brilliance that earned Kipling literary fame early on and kept him in the public consciousness until today. 

The top of the cap is engraved with a beginning and an end of a poem in addition to that are also the initials R.K engraved in the cap. The top of the pen is crafted to resemble the head of a wolf. The wold head showcases Montblanc's innovative spirit. The first US edition of The Jungle Book inspired the green colour of this writing instrument as the cover was green. The barrel and the cap are made of precious resin.

The Montblanc Great Characters Walt Disney Limited Edition 1901 is limited to 1901 pieces whcich refers to the year of Walt Disney's birth. The groundbreaking multiplane camera invented by Disney is decipted on the cap in lacquer inlays with platinum-coated parts. On  the barrel you wil see an Mickey Mouse design with a flickering scanimation effect when rotated. Mickey Mouse appeared in Walt Disney's first film "Steamboat Willie" in 1928. This film, which is also famous for its use of synchronised sound, inspired the smokestack shape of the platinum-coated clip. The fountain pen has a rhoidum-coated nib, made of Au 750 solid gold. The nib is decorated with an engraving if the inconic Mickey Mouse. 

The Montblanc Donation Pen Collection is honouring world-famous classical musicians of the past decades. The Donation Pen supports carefully selected cultural projects from pioneering artists the world over with a donation of 20 euros per fountain pen and 10 euros per ballpoint or rollerball. This year's edition pays tribute to George Gershwin, an American composer and pianist.

The clip is in the shape of a clarinet - a tribute to the clarinet opening from Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue". The cap ring is decorated with the Brooklyn Bridge to symbolise the close relationship George Gershwin had with his place of birth. The cap and barrel are made out of black precious resin combined with platinum-coated fittings.

The special gift box additionally contains three prints of the Brooklyn Bridge.
