At the Dutch Pen Show of 2021, visitors were invited to vote for the theme of this year’s pen show. The majority chose blue, and that’s why the theme for the 2022 Dutch Pen Show became ‘Summer Sky’, to celebrate that after several postponements the DPS was back to its original schedule in the month of June.

For the third year in a row, the Dutch Pen Show has collaborated with Leonardo Officina Italiana to create a stunning fountain pen in the theme of the show. The material for the pen is a creation by Jonathon Brooks of Carolina Pen Company.

The pen has all the shades of blue of the summer sky, mingled with the white of typical Dutch clouds on a summer’s day.

The pens are equipped with piston filling system and a 14kt gold regular nib or the optional flexible Elastic nib with the logo of the Dutch Pen Show.

The engraving reads: “Dutch Pen Show 2022 Exclusive” and the limited edition number.

The pen is available with gold or silver details. The pens will be shipped in a sleeved box with a complementary bottle of ink.
