Bees also know the magic of crystallized honey, storing and using it for food as fall arrives and winter approaches. The Estie Honeycomb is flecked with the colors of rich amber, golden sunsets, and is reminiscent of the rainbow of rustling leaves underfoot.     For this pen, Esterbook was drawn to perhaps the most popular of the islands: Maui. With its famous beaches, volcanic Haleakala, national parks, and impossibly gorgeous coastlines, Maui has captured the imagination of Esterbrook's design team to bring this pen to life.

    Taking inspiration from the varied geological attributes of Hawaii’s famous island, this pen is composed of a stacked acrylic blend in vibrant shades of blue, green, and red.     The Esterbrook Estie ballpoint pen in Nouveau Bleu with Palladium trim is made of gorgeous marbled acrylic resin in several rich shades of blue with with a solid Palladium clip. The clip has been specially engineered to easily slide in or out of a shirt pocket without assistance while still maintaining a firm grip.

    The color of the writing instrument is inspired by the artist Czech Mucha, who was widely and commercially well-known through his advertisements for everything from chocolate to cigarettes to laundry detergent. From his work a signature color eau de nil blue emerges for which Mucha used to clothe the women in lush drapery, illuminate the skies behind them, give them wings and surround them with waves of water.
